Giannis Antetokounmpo, is it possible to be the best player in the league on a bad team? If so, Antetokounmpo (On-tay-too-koonm-po) is it! Standing 7 feet tall, and having guard like maneuvering ability, as well as arms as long as Mr. Fantastic from the Fantastic Four, he is at the top of the list in the NBA. Russell Westbrook won MVP last year on a team holding no threat towards the playoffs and even less a championship. So, the question remains, is Giannis the best?
I have both the personal and business versions of the Amex Platinum (amongst many other premium AF cards). With the increase in the annual fee to $550, I decided to close out the personal version. They offered me 15k MR points or $100 credit as a retention offer, but I declined. They noticed that I also have a Green Card ( 1/2 back-dated cards). They offered to upgrade that to a PRG with a pro-rated fee of ~ $50 and a 15k points bonus, I declined this as well. will most likely upgrade it to a personal platinum later.
I have both a Discover IT credit card and a Discover Checking account. After first obtaining the IT card, I opened a checking account. I was disappointed to learn that I would have to use two different logins to manage both accounts.
One major annoyance is the select menu on the Discover homepage will default to "Bank Account" when I would navigate to versus of .
I even wrote to Discover about this and they gave me a generic response while not seeming to have a clue what I was talking about. It is good to see that they've made this change, it is a much-welcomed improvement.
History has proven that music rarely survives the changes between generations. Most parents don’t like the music of their children, at least not right away. The photo above of “Lil Uzi Vert”, a “Trap” music artist...which is a variation of rap...is one of the popular artists in the last 2 years. The music is a combo of singing & rapping either in an annoying but catching tone or “mumble” rap flow.
Just as a reference point, my mom hated 2pac when she first heard him cursing out Biggie. Years later would know every word of the song. Also, the elders of the 90s thought Snoop was ignorant but you can now find Snoop on a cooking show with Martha Stewart being himself.
In history, there’s no genre of music regarded as awful by the youth of that time...and I doubt “Trap” music is any different...don’t be old! Better yet, be proud to be!!
